A short list of what we use, and why. The point of this page is the list — not the legal performance around it.

What we use, and why

magnaite.com uses a small number of cookies. They fall into two groups.

Essential cookies — set by the site itself to remember basic browsing state, for example that you've dismissed a notification, or which dropdowns you've opened during a session. Without them, parts of the site stop behaving the way they're supposed to. They expire when you close the browser tab, or after the session ends.

Analytics cookies — set by our analytics tool to help us understand which pages visitors find useful, where the traffic is coming from, and which devices it's on. This is aggregate, not individually identifying — we can't see who you are, and we don't try to. The data informs editorial decisions about which sections to expand and which to trim.

What we don't use

We don't run advertising or behavioural-retargeting cookies. We don't share cookie data with marketing networks. We don't use third-party tracking pixels for the purpose of following visitors across other sites.

How to control cookies

Every modern browser lets you view, block, or delete cookies through its settings. Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge all expose this in the privacy section of their preferences.

Blocking essential cookies will degrade some parts of the site; blocking analytics cookies has no effect on what you see — just on what we learn from the visit.

Changes

We update this page when our cookie posture changes. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
